Utrecht, 6 October - Rabobank will now only use paper bearing the FSC quality mark for all its office paper. All the bank’s envelopes, bank account statements, stationery and copying paper will now be made of paper from demonstrably well-managed forests. Jesse Kuijper, the Chairman of FSC Netherlands, symbolically presented the first “FSC envelope” today to Vincent Lokin, Director of Facilities at Rabobank Nederland. Rabobank is the first large organisation to switch to FSC paper on this scale. In order to qualify for the FSC quality mark, the entire chain of forest, paper producers and printers must be FSC certified. FSC-certified paper will be gradually introduced for all Rabobank accountholders in the coming weeks.
